Us The Duo Performs 'Build Me Up Buttercup,' And It's Too Cute For Words

The couple never ceases to amaze us.

The Foundation's 1968 hit "Build Me Up Buttercup" never fails to get people singing along — it's a karaoke classic, a go-to party track, and perfect for those road trips with your friends. In fact, the tune has even managed to cheer up a highway filled with people stuck in traffic — and that's saying something.

Now, Michael and Carissa Alvarado of Us the Duo have put their own romantic spin on the song in their latest cover uploaded to YouTube. The couple features this performance just a couple of weeks after singing a mash-up of Zedd and Alessa Cara's "Stay" with Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" on their channel as well.

For their acoustic cover, the Alvarados slow things down a bit, with both Michael and Carissa singing vocals and Michael on the guitar.

"Got chills all throughout the video! Your voices are literally made for one another," one viewer comments on the video, which has now garnered nearly 50,000 views.

"I [have loved] this song for many years!!! Thank you so much for this cover, it's amazing and so sweet!" another adds.
