Listen To The xx's Stunning Cover Of Justin Timberlake's 'My Love'

We could listen to this over and over.

From Paramore's cover of Drake's "Passionfruit," to Bruno Mars' version of Adele's "All I Ask," to Ed Sheeran's version of Little Mix's "Touch," BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge has given us the gift of many noteworthy covers from some of our favorite musical artists in the past. Seriously, if you're not following it, you should probably start.

Most recently, English indie band The xx visited the Live Lounge to perform two of their hit songs, "Dangerous" from their 2017 album, I See You and "Angels" from Coexist. But they also took on Justin Timberlake's "My Love" from his beloved 2006 album, FutureSex/LoveSounds.

The xx, which consists of Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, and Jamie Smith, didn't try to perform T.I.'s guest verse on the track. However, they did integrate lyrics from "LoveStoned / I Think She Knows," another song from Timberlake's album. In addition, Sim, who's openly gay, replaced the word "girl" in the lyrics from Timberlake's love song with "boy."

Their version is slinky, sultry, and creative. Some might even prefer it to the original, although we'll happily listen to both on repeat.
