Rebecca Black Released A Music Video For Her New Go-To Summer Jam, And She Did It On A Friday, Of Course

You'd be "Foolish" not to watch this.

Prepare to keep Rebecca Black on repeat for the foreseeable future. The YouTube sensation just released a music video for her latest song that you won't be able to get out of your head: "Foolish."

Black dropped the clip last Friday (April 28) making it either a little nod to the song that put her on the map — we're talking about "Friday," of course — or a wonderful coincidence. Entertainment Weekly exclusively premiered the music video before it was posted publicly on YouTube and, we have to admit, it's a tune that has the potential to be a song of the summer.

What we're trying to say is: Black has done it once again.

It's a far cry from the Black we knew in "Friday" as we see the singer going to the club and getting ready for a nighttime pool escapade. The more adult theme is something that was intended, and the beat is super bouncy and will keep you moving to the rhythm.

"The directors and I really wanted to capture what people feel and do when we begin to fall in love," Black told EW about the meaning behind the song and its clip. "We take risks and try new things in order to learn new sides of ourselves — I don't think anyone ever leaves a relationship the same person as they were before."

Black is certainly starting to make a name for herself beyond just the notoriety she received from "Friday" back in 2011. Whether she's performing her own music, doing duets with other musicians, or making epic mash-ups, we're sure this is just the beginning for this talented young lady.
