Fans at Pink's recent concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles got quite the surprise when the singer welcomed Gwen Stefani to the stage. The two badass women chose the perfect song to sing together to mark the occasion — "Just a Girl," by Stefani's band No Doubt.

The pair looked perfectly punk as they belted the 1995 tune, on which Stefani sings, "'Cause I'm just a girl, little ol' me / Well don't let me out of your sight / Oh, I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite / So don't let me have any rights / Oh, I've had it up to here!"

In video posted on Twitter by the Staples Center, Pink can be heard praising Stefani as she leaves the stage. "It just doesn't get better than that," she says. "She's my spirit animal."

The singer also posted about Stefani on Instagram after the performance. "Y'all don't even understand how much love I have for this chick, this rocker, this mama, this entrepreneur, this total OG badass that is @gwenstefani there really aren't any comparisons as far as I'm concerned," she wrote to caption an image from their duet. "Tonight was fun. Thanks friend."

Stefani also posted video of their performance to her own Instagram account, thanking Pink for having her and writing that she had "so much #respect coming your way."

As People points out, this isn't the ladies' first time performing together. Pink previously joined Stefani during her performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas in 2012. They performed the same song.

We certainly wouldn't complain if, after Pink wraps up her Beautiful Trauma Tour, she and Stefani record a new collaboration. This latest appearance was the perfect taste.
