In One Soothing Medley, Singer NIIA Covers Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Sade, And More

You're welcome.

With the weekend fast approaching, we're on the lookout for some tunes that you'll want to play on repeat. Recently, in a video performance for Harper's Bazaar, NIIA combined a handful of tracks from some popular artists and mashed them into one song we think everyone should hear.

For the cover, NIIA effortlessly performs Drake's "Teenage Fever," Jennifer Lopez's "If You Had My Love," Kevin Lyttle's "Turn Me On," Marian Hill's "Down," and Sade's "King of Sorrow," all in one stunning medley.

Harper's Bazaar calls NIIA's voice "soft yet soulful," and describes it as "[floating] over gentle beats with a sustained groove." NIIA dropped her debut album, I, earlier this year with producer Robin Hannibal. It features songs like "Nobody" and "Sideline."

"[NIIA and Hannibal] understand how to make songs melt, and how to make seismic shifts at a glacial pace," The New York Times says in a review about the album. "The result is trip-hop that strips away the pomp, leaving only the ooze."

That said, we love listening to NIIA's latest acoustic cover medley, which successfully showcases her talent and convinces us to listen to more. Check it out in full below:
