Kelsea Ballerini is one of our country music darlings, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have the range to do other genres. The "Peter Pan" singer recently put her own twist on the 2007 hit "Apologize" by Timbaland and featuring OneRepublic.

The 24-year-old was a guest on BBC's Radio 2 Breakfast Show along with The Late Late Show host James Corden and Australian pop queen Kylie Minogue. Host Chris Evans — no, not Captain America — had Ballerini perform the song that has been covered by fellow country stars such as Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, and Kacey Musgraves.

Ballerini — who snagged a Best New Artist nomination at the 2017 Grammys — puts her unique twang and, with an acoustic approach to the tune, she absolutely shines. To be honest, we love "Apologize" in its country form just as much as the original.

"Apologize" was written by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and a remix was included on the Timbaland album Shock Value. It performed gangbusters, hitting No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned the group a Grammy nomination.

Ballerini, you've got nothing to "Apologize" for with this great cover.
