Ellen Page Just Did A Stripped Down, Acoustic Cover Of Britney Spears' 'Lucky'

Bringing us back to summer 2000.

From Ashley Tisdale performing an updated rendition of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name" to a 15-piece orchestra throwing it back to 2007 with Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger," we've been loving the nostalgic covers that have been making the rounds as of late. Most recently, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that actress Ellen Page busted out her guitar to bring us back to summer 2000.

Dancer Emma Portner, who you might recognize from Justin Bieber's "Life is Worth Living" music video and Purpose World Tour, shared a video collaborating with Page on her YouTube channel. She performs an interpretive, improvised dance routine as Page sings a stripped down, acoustic version of Britney Spear's pop hit from 17 years ago, "Lucky." The song was featured on Spears' second studio album Oops! ... I Did It Again and achieved commercial success all over the world.

While we haven't heard Page sing in quite awhile, it's no surprise that she has a beautiful voice. Remember when she broke out into Hollywood with her performance in Juno and sang a duet with Michael Cera? The pair beautifully covered the Moldy Peaches' song "Anyone Else But You."

If the video makes you miss seeing Page on screen, you can catch her in the sci-fi horror film Flatliners alongside Nina Dobrev in the fall.

Until then, watch Page's cover of "Lucky" below:
