Lovato was one of a number of artists to perform at One Voice: Somos! Live, a concert and telethon associated with the initiative Somos Una Voz (We Are One Voice), started by Jennifer Lopez with her ex-husband Marc Anthony and current boyfriend Alex Rodriguez to raise money for victims of the recent hurricanes in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, as well as the earthquake in Mexico.

"Tonight, we are all here as one voice, to declare loudly and clearly in English and Spanish to every man woman and child in Puerto Rico and beyond that you are not forgotten, you are not alone," Lopez, who previously donated $1 million to Puerto Rico relief efforts, said at the concert, according to People. "We are all here to help, not just because you are Americans but also because you are family, familia."

The concert featured performances in both Miami and Los Angeles, from such artists as Camila Cabello, Daddy Yankee, Ricky Martin, and Stevie Wonder. Money raised will go to such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, and Feeding America.

Also present at the event on the telephones were celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, and Ellen DeGeneres. The talk show host tweeted a video of Lovato's "Hallelujah" performance from her perspective at the show, adding, "Incredible. I hope you're watching." And she wasn't the only one who loved it — a number of viewers also shared how moved they were.
