This 9-Year-Old With A Voice Beyond Her Years Wowed Laverne Cox On 'America's Got Talent'

"I am really blown away."

This season of America's Got Talent is quickly turning into "Battle of the Talented Young Singers." Just a couple of weeks ago, 9-year-old Angelica Hale impressed Chris Hardwick into pressing the Golden Buzzer. This week, another 9-year-old with amazing pipes returned to the stage for the judge cuts, and she received the same honor — this time from guest judge Laverne Cox.

Celine Tam and her sister Dion were named after — you guessed it — Celine Dion, so it's no surprise that she auditioned for the show with a cover of Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." It got her through to the next round, where she performed Michael Bolton's "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You," with a special dedication.

"Tonight, I'm going to be singing a song for my little sister," Celine said, according to People. "It's about how we love each other. We're sisters and we're best friends."

Celine had all the judges smiling with her strong voice, but Cox was especially impressed. "I just want to eat you up and take you home," the actress said. "You are so adorable and so cute, and your voice is amazing. You're so talented."

Laverne said she was "really blown away" — so much so that she just had to push the Golden Buzzer to send Celine into the live rounds. She'll join other youngsters such as 13-year-old singer Angelina Green and 12-year-old ventriloquist Darci Lynne.
