Prepare To Be Captivated By Bruno Mars And Zendaya In The Moody 'Versace On The Floor' Music Video

A match made in heaven.

For the "Versace On the Floor" music video, Bruno Mars joined forces with Zendaya to make you experience all the feels this evocative slow jam offers. The clip — which dropped during the 2017 Teen Choice Awards — brought the two superstars together for a sexy love story.

"Versace On the Floor," off the Hawaiian-born singer's 24K Magic album, is a silky ballad about a rendezvous that comes to life in the accompanying music video with the Disney Channel star. The clip begins by showing Mars and Zendaya as neighbors, with the former's song casting a spell upon the latter through their shared wall. At the end, Zendaya's dress — which had magically unzipped itself — literally hits the floor and we're left with a knock at the door, which we can only assume is made by Mars, as "The End" appears on the screen.

Even before the music video dropped, the duo was already having a big night. Mars had donated $1 million to aid in water crisis relief efforts in Flint the day before and was at the awards show to be honored with the Visionary Award. Zendaya, on the other hand, gave an inspiring acceptance speech while winning for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

When not starring in music videos that will captivate you, both of these multi-hyphenates are sending an important message to all of their fans. Mars, in a statement about his donation, said "we need to stand together to make sure that something like [the Flint water crisis] never happens in any community again." Zendaya — addressing the violence and tragedy in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend — told her young fans, "I need you guys to be educated. I need you to listen. I need you to pay attention."

It's great to see these two celebrities using their voices to stand up for important issues such as these. And, because they do that and are also pretty generally awesome otherwise, we would watch a million more music videos featuring this dynamic duo.
