Boyce Avenue's 'Every Breath You Take' Cover Will Pretty Much Take Your Breath Away

We're in love.

There's something about The Police's song "Every Breath You Take" that hits us right in the feels. It could be the beautiful lyrics, the instrumental build-up, or a combination of all its emotion, but whatever it is, we're sure to stop and listen whenever it pops on our playlists.

Recently, Boyce Avenue brought back the 1983 rock hit, covering it on their popular YouTube channel. Boyce Avenue has covered a plethora of our favorite tracks, from The Verve's "Bitter Sweet Symphony," to Sam Smith's "Too Good at Goodbyes," to Alanis Morissette's "Ironic."

Naturally, we were super excited to see that the band would be taking on The Police cover, written by Sting, and it's safe to say they did not disappoint. The accompanying music video, shot in black and white, shows lead singer Alejandro Manzano on the guitar, as well as band members Fabian Manzano and Daniel Manzano adding beautiful keyboard and percussion instrumentals as well.

"What a breathtaking performance," one YouTube viewer comments on the video.

"I was listening to this song by the Police, and a few minutes later I got the notification that Boyce Avenue did a cover of it. A lovely song, and a lovely cover!!" another adds.

Since Boyce Avenue uploaded the cover to their channel late February, the video has been viewed well over 1 million times — and we're sure they're not stopping there.
