After almost two years, Ariana Grande is back with new music. At midnight on Friday morning, the singer released her latest single "No Tears Left to Cry," along with a trippy music video. As the anniversary of the tragic bombing at her Manchester concert draws closer, the song is sending a positive message.

"Right now I'm in a state of mind / I wanna be in like all the time / Ain't got no tears left to cry," Grande sings on the upbeat new track. "So I'm picking it up, picking it up / I'm loving, I'm living, I'm picking it up." Later, she adds, "We're way too fly to partake in all this hate."

The song's music video, directed by Dave Meyers, finds the pop star in a futuristic world that seems to defy gravity, with buildings standing from all directions. Grande walks across walls and onto the ceiling, before hanging sideways from a fire escape. As BBC points out, the video also pays subtle tribute to Manchester as a bee flies on the edge of the frame at the end of the clip.

According to Variety, the 24-year-old's new album will reportedly be "deeply personal and inspired by her experiences over the past two years," including the Manchester tragedy. It will also feature collaborations with artists including Pharrell Williams.
