Gap Partners With The UN For Pride Month, Creates Collection To Encourage Us To 'Wear Our Pride'

This Pride month, we've seen many clothing brands create collections that raise awareness and funds for the LGBTQ community, from MeUndies, to Converse, to Nike

Gap is also celebrating Pride 2017 with its #WearYourPride collection of rainbow T-shirts.

For the line, Gap has partnered with the United Nations Foundation's Free & Equal initiative with the goal of ensuring equal rights and treatment for the LGBTQ community through fundraising and raising awareness.

When people purchase the Pride T-shirts, 30 percent of net sales will be donated to the cause.

The T-shirts will be available in stores all over the world, including the U.S., Hong Kong, Italy, France, Taiwan, and Canada. They will be sold through the month of October, while supplies last.

Furthermore,  $2 for every Pride eGift card — available from AthletaBanana RepublicBanana Republic FactoryGapGap Factory and Old Navy — sold in June will be donated, up to $25,000.

Roy L. Hunt, Gap Inc.
