This Artist's 3-D Illustrations Will Have You Staring For Hours And Hours

"I'd always want to get lost in it."

While a doodle can be simple, one illustrator's showing off the intricies of theirs — and it's absolutely beautiful.

In a series of photos uploaded to Instagram, Cambodian artist Visoth Kakvei sketches 3-D, digitally enhanced works that break through the surface to stun viewers.

In one photo, for example, Kakvei's nature-themed sketches appear to descend deep into the page, as if there is a hole right in the center of the notebook.

"When every page of my sketchbook is full of nature, I'd always want to get lost in it. Would you?" he captions on Instagram.

In another photo, leaves appear to fly off the page, swept up by a storm-like effect:

In another, Kakvei asks (via a caption) that the viewer scroll into his work to reveal its details: "Zoom to see what the boy is holding. It's for you."

Kakvei's impressive work has garnered quite the following on Instagram; he has 824,000 followers and his posts reach likes in the tens of thousands.

Needless to say, we hope this artist never stops creating. Check out more of his work below:
