He Surprised His Girlfriend With A Fill-In-The-Blank Tattoo Asking Her To Marry Him

That's one way to do it.

Some people are inspired to get tattoos to commemorate special moments, honor loved ones, or mark a new chapter in life. Tattoo artist Vinny Capaldo-Smith hit on all three of these themes with a tattoo he got for his girlfriend, Brooke Wodark. The concept for his body art had a very special twist.

It was a marriage proposal, complete with fill-in-the blank boxes for "yes" or "no."

Capaldo-Smith arranged to have Wodark — who isn't a tattoo artist — give him a tattoo of a heart on his ankle. However, just as Wodark was preparing to tattoo the heart, Capaldo-Smith rolled up his shorts to expose a tattoo of a cartoon couple with the message, "Will you marry me?" with boxes indicating a "yes" or "no."

Wodark then had to mark the appropriate box.

Thankfully she marked 'Yes.' One of Capaldo-Smith's friends then came out with the engagement ring.

Wodark later shared photos and a video of the sweet proposal on Facebook

"Vinny had always said he wanted me to tattoo him. Today he sprung it on me and told me it was the day," she wrote. "I drew out a simple heart on his ankle only to be surprised with a beautiful ring and my future husband! I'm so happy!"

Since the video was shared on June 20, it has been viewed an impressive 11.3 million times. People are offering the couple congratulations while complimenting Capaldo-Smith on the unique proposal idea.
