Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Sent A Touching Video To The Family Of A Late Fan

"I just want to thank her for all the love."

Once again, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has done something special for his fans. Over the weekend, a Twitter user named Angelo Pizarro — whose mother and 12-year-old sister were tragically killed in a car crash last week — posted about his mother's love for Johnson, and expressed his hope that the star would record a video for her funeral.

His tweet, which featured a photo of his mother posing with an image of Johnson, has received tens of thousands of retweets, leading Johnson to see it and honor Pizarro's wish. He sent the son a direct message containing a video of himself sending his condolences.

"I had turned on my phone, and I saw a flood, thousands and thousands of tweets that had come through informing me about the devastating loss that you and your family are going through with your sister and your mom," Johnson said to the camera. "I'm sending you so much love and light and strength your way, from my family to yours."

He went on to tell Pizarro to "stay strong," and added, "If your mom could see me now, which I'm sure she can, I just want to thank her for all the love and being such a big fan."

Pizarro expressed his gratitude for the video, writing to Johnson, "I hope everyone knows how amazing you are. I can't stop smiling knowing she's smiling so much. Just, thank you." He also thanked those who viewed his original post about his mom.

Johnson replied, writing, "Least I could do. Story is heartbreaking. Stay strong."

It's far from the only time Johnson has gone above and beyond for a fan. In October, he recorded a video for a 76-year-old fan battling cancer who brought a cardboard cutout of him to hospice. Before that, he met a 10-year-old boy who saved his younger brother using CPR he learned from watching Johnson in the film San Andreas. Johnson called him a "real life hero."
