This Snoring Hummingbird Would Keep You Up At Night

But it's so darn cute.

Did you know hummingbirds flap their wings at a rate of 80 times per second? Oh, and that their heart can beat up to 1,260 times per minute

You've probably heard these facts at some point or another during your school days, but there's one thing you might not have learned about hummingbirds.

They snore.

That's right. They snore. Teeny, weeny high-pitched little snores.

A scientist in Peru captured a snoozing hummingbird for this BBC One video, and it basically proves that hummingbirds are the greatest birds ever.

Even if they might be annoying to sleep next to.
