Sarah Sanders Got Fact-Checked Live On Fox News

The testy exchange with Chris Wallace surprised a lot of viewers.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders  was fact-checked live on Fox News after making erroneous claims about the border crisis to Fox News host Chris Wallace.

Sanders, who was pushing the president's proposed border wall, said that close to 4,000 known or suspected terrorists come into our country illegally, and that the southern border is our most vulnerable point of entry. But Wallace broke down her claim and pointed out that the State Department has released evidence contradicting it.

"Do you know where those 4,000 people are captured? Airports!" Wallace said. "The State Department says there is, quote, their words, 'no credible evidence of any terrorist coming across the border from Mexico.'"
