11 Pieces Of Advice From Kids Who May Be Wise Without Even Knowing It

"Stop walking around worrying about stuff, that just wears holes in your shoes."

Sometimes kids can say something super deep without even realizing it. Their fresh take on life allows them to have an untainted perspective on things, and their words can be pretty impactful for adults.  I'll never forget, for instance, the time my 10-year-old cousin told me she was going on vacation "just to get away," reminding me that sometimes, we just need to give ourselves a break.

Recently, one Reddit user asked the question: "What is the best advice you've ever received from a child?" The answers shared by the online community made for some pretty funny and endearing stories.

For example, one person recalls nervously painting a 6-year-old's nails, only for her to reassure them that if they mess up, they can always try again.

Another person says their 11-year-old student once told them to "stop walking around worrying about stuff, that just wears holes in your shoes," and we couldn't agree more.
