11 People Recall Their Very Best Day In 2017

What was your best day of the year?

For many of us, 2017 has been quite the year year. But despite the stresses, it's important to look back and appreciate the memory-making days that made us feel happy, accomplished, and/or grateful for the people we have in life.

Recently, one Reddit user asked the community, "What was your best day and what happened?"  Responses quickly filled the thread, reminding us of all the good that happened this year.

For example, one user explained they accomplished one of their major goals for the year: getting a job. Another person wrote that their relationship, though it didn't work out, helped them become a more confident person and boost their self-esteem.

And another person said that despite some unfortunate losses and struggles at school, they made it through the year and received their bachelor's degree.

"This year was hard. I moved out ... both of my grandfathers passed away, I suffered from occupational burnout and I wanted to drop out of [university] every single day of my last semester. But I did it! [Passing my courses] was the best day of my year, and it felt amazing to know that I managed to keep the plates spinning long enough to get my Bachelors degree."
