Prince William Brings Mental Health To The Stage At World Economic Forum

"We’ve got to start tackling it because there are still so many people who are suffering in silence."

Prince William spoke about mental health on stage at the World Economic Forum, bringing a sensitive subject to a national audience.

A former pilot for one of England's air ambulances, William said he was dealing with "trauma" on a day-to-day basis. Those heavy experiences opened him up to a difficult world he hadn't previously encountered.

"We've got to start tackling it because there are still so many people who are suffering in silence," he said. "There is still this stigma attached to mental health which we've got to completely obliterate before we can move to the next stage."
