People Of All Ages Were Asked What Their Best Feature Is. Here's What They Said.

"I’m proud that I feel compassion for other people.”

It's can be easier to notice the good in others than it is to notice it in ourselves as many of us are overly self-critical  —  about our physical appearance, our social status, or even our personalities. But while this is especially true for grown-ups, kids are typically a bit more optimistic and confident. It's as we get older and become more vulnerable to a wider, and more complex world that we lose that childhood bliss

In a new video from SoulPancake, children, teens, and adults are asked what their best feature is. For some of the participants, the question was tough to answer.

"I feel so entitled whenever I have to answer these questions," said a 14-year-old girl in the video.  Another 46-year-old man said that if he has a best feature, he's unaware of it.

Other people in the video had no problem figuring out what they love most about themselves. A 7-year-old participant said "mostly everything" is her best feature, and a 73-year-old woman noted her smile and good attitude as her favorite part about herself. Some answers included physical attributes such as hair, eyes, and smiles, but a majority of the participants mentioned things about their personality.

"I'm a kind person," said a 70-year-old man in the video. "That's my best feature. I'm proud that I feel compassion for other people."

The way we see ourselves can affect the way we treat others, so this is a great reminder to be a bit kinder to ourselves.  A good start to some good "me-loving" is acknowledging all of the wonderful things that make you who you are. What's your favorite thing about yourself? Is it your smile? Maybe your sense of humor? Take a moment and find out.
