Watch Parents React To Current Music — And Try To Guess What They're Listening To

"The older I get, the better it was."

In the past, we've watched kids react to classic Madonna music videos, teens try to guess the names of pop punk songs from the early 2000s, and seniors give their honest opinions to Beyoncé's Lemonade. Now, it's time to see what parents think of modern music.

In a recent "React" video from Fine Brothers Entertainment, eight parents put on a pair of headphones and listened to a series of current songs. But first, they shared general opinions on the modern tunes.

Some parents aren't too excited by the new songs being played on the radio. "I feel like I have exhausted my knowledge of modern music because the older I get, the better it was," one mom named Christine said.

But others are happy to find new artists to listen to. "I try not to be too judgy with the music. Some people [say], 'Oh, that's garbage! That's too young people.' I try to give everything a chance and some of that stuff is good," one dad named Malcolm said. We're glad that he and many of the other parents kept an open mind during the video.

The Fine Brothers Entertainment selected seven songs for the parents to listen to including "Location" by Khalid, "Less Than" by Nine Inch Nails, "Too Good at Goodbyes" by Sam Smith, "What About Us" by Pink, and more. After each song was played, the participants were asked to name the song title and artist.

See how they did in the video below:
