News Anchor Whose Water Broke On Air Thanks Everyone For Their 'Well Wishes'

She finished doing her broadcast on air even after her water broke.

The 11 p.m. news broadcast on Tuesday, September 26 started out as usual for Natalie Pasquarella, but things quickly changed for the pregnant NBC News 4 New York anchor.

When she and her colleagues were discussing Twitter's potential character limit increase, her water broke.

NBC News 4 explained that when Pasquaraella let out an "uneasy laugh" during the broadcast, it signaled the precise moment her water broke. Instead of panicking, the professional completed the segment before telling people off-air that she had gone into labor.

The executive producer and others at 30 Rockefeller Plaza then helped the mama-to-be go to the hospital where she met her husband, Jamin.

Less than 13 hours later, Pasquaraella gave birth to Jamin James Pastore.

Just this week, the news anchor had posted a photo of her full baby bump with the caption that she had a month to go. Clearly, the baby had other plans as he came into the world on Wednesday, September 27 weighing in at 5 pounds and 6 ounces.

After the baby's birth, the news anchor shared a photo of the little one last night on Instagram.

She wrote, "A beautiful blessing decided to make his entrance early! Thankful for all of the well wishes. Our hearts are full! ‬❤️ #BabyJ#JaminJames#SoInLove#babyboy#love"
