Hairstylist Braids Client's Hair While Holding Her Baby In True Multitasking-Mama Fashion

"A mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do."

Multitasking and parenting go hand-in-hand, but for working parents, it can be extra challenging to find ways to make sure you get all your hours in while your child is also being cared for. After all, a parent can't always rely on a nanny, other family members, or daycare to watch their little ones when needed.

So, one hairstylist mom named Melek Ustunluk is showing us all how multitasking is done. The braid master —  known for styling the crowns of celebrities such as Wale, Allen Iverson, and Travis Scott — is recently going viral after posting a video of her styling a client's hair while balancing her baby girl on her lap.

"My mom normally watches my daughter Capella, but couldn't take care of her that day," the Clifton, NJ-based stylist told BuzzFeed. "I couldn't cancel my appointments, so I decided to bring her with me."

The Instagram post, captioned, "A mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do,"  inspired working parents who know all too well what it's like to manage both work-life and parent-life.

"This is BEAUTIFUL! No job is too big when you're a HUSTLER. I love this keep striving," one user said. "Sweet baby girl! This just made my night. I miss my baby just wanting to love on me, she's two and on the go! Some real talent braiding and holding baby," said another Instagrammer. "You are one heck of a super mom!!," praised a follower.

Ustunluk's 15-month old baby, Capella, is really shy and a total mommy's girl, so she asked her client if he'd mind the extra company as she braided his hair. "He was really cool about it," she told BuzzFeed. "That's what I love about my clients. They understand that I'm a mom first and a business owner second."

The 31-year-old businesswoman recently opened her new salon, Mimi's Braids, over the summer and won't be slowing down anytime soon. She's a true testament of what it means to be a "mompreneur."
