Mom Battling Cancer Dies Just 72 Hours After Sharing One Last Dance With Her Son

A beautiful mother son moment.

After battling cancer for three years, 61-year-old Mary Ann Manning had one last item to check off her bucket list.

The Dublin, California mom attended her son Ryan's September 5 wedding and shared a mother son dance with him to "Over The Rainbow" by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole.

"It was very special," he told KTVU.

Getting there was no easy feat, however, with the chemo treatments that come along with cancer. According to the station, Manning's health declined and she was wheelchair-bound. But somehow, she made it, which her son Ryan called nothing short of a miracle.

She died 72 hours later.

Yea, we need tissues, too.
