15 Comics That Perfectly Sum Up 'Adulting' Struggles, From Nights At Home To Exercising

"My best friend just bought a house and I'm eating a Pop-Tart for dinner."

You know that feeling when you wake up early, spend over an hour lying in bed and scrolling through your phone, and then end up late to work for no good reason? Or how about when you realize you've spent your entire weekend eating popcorn and watching Netflix from your couch?

Alas, adulting is hard. Luckily, Mo Welch understands all of our millennial woes, and she's illustrating them in a series of hilarious comics on her Instagram account.

For example, in her most recent post, Welch draws a girl in a white tee, holding a snack with the caption: "My best friend just bought a house and I'm eating a Pop-Tart for dinner."

Welch spoke with HuffPost about exploring the balance between following our dreams and managing our "adult" obligations, saying, "For instance, millennials are getting married later or not at all, having kids later or not at all, so we have the luxury of spending our time with ourselves ― but maybe luxury isn't the right word considering I had cereal for dinner three nights in a row."

So whether you feel like you can relate to these comics or not, they're sure to make you smile. And if you can, there's no harm in poking a little fun at ourselves from time to time.
