This 86-Year-Old Former Model Got Married In A Wedding Dress She Designed, Proving 'Everyone Can Find Love Again'

"This is a true testament that age is just a number."

One 86-year-old woman's proving it's never too late to find love again.

In a post shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page, Khadija Elkharbibi explains how her grandmother, Millie Taylor-Morrison, married Harold Morrison this October — 25 years after her first husband passed away.

The caption reads:

"This is my beautiful grandmother, Millie Taylor-Morrison, who was married over the weekend at 86 years old. She just turned 86 one week ago and her new husband will be 86 in December. My grandmother was married to my grandfather for 41 years when he passed away. She found love again almost 25 years later and our family couldn't be happier for her. This is a true testament that age is just a number and everyone can find love again."

In addition to the post, Elkharbibi shared a photo of her grandmother, a former model, in a new wedding dress that Taylor-Morrison designed herself. The purple ensemble is complete with a bright bouquet and, of course, a confident smile.

Elkharbibi tells BuzzFeed that her grandmother sketched the dress with the help of a church member, and a few months later, it was complete.

"The look on everyone's face when they saw her, but especially the look on Mr. Harold's face when he saw her walking down the aisle ― it was the absolute sweetest thing you could ever see!" Elkharbibi tells The Huffington Post. "He teared up. It was beautiful! My Nana just beamed with happiness, it was truly a sight to see."

Here's to many more years of love. Check out more photos from the wedding below:
