Watch Miley Cyrus Sing Songs In Genres They Were Never Meant For

Her pop version of Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" definitely deserves a listen.

When Miley Cyrus was a guest on The Tonight Show back in June, host Jimmy Fallon asked the singer to perform a few popular songs with some bizarre lyrics. The songs were put through Google Translate, translated into other languages, and then translated back to English, which resulted in some hilariously ridiculous lines. Despite the absurdity of the words, Cyrus showed she's both talented and professional by beautifully singing the odd lyrics without missing a beat.

During Cyrus' most recent visit to the show, Fallon decided to test her talents in a different way. He invited her to play Musical Genre Challenge. Similar to the wildly popular Wheel of Musical Impressions game on the show, Cyrus and Fallon took turns banging on a large button to get a randomly selected song. But instead of singing them in the style of an accomplished musician, they're given a random musical genre that's far from the original one the song was meant for. Then, whoever pressed the button will sing the song in the style of that musical genre.

Fallon started things off by singing "Cotton Eye Joe" in soft rock, which ended up being way better than it sounds. But, of course, the real star of the segment was Cyrus who gave her all during a bluegrass rendition of R. Kelly's "Ignition (Remix)" and transformed Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" into a pop hit we'd gladly download.
