This Seriously Epic Father-Daughter Dance Surprised All The Wedding Guests

And they couldn't get enough.

The 400 guests at Utah bride Mikayla Phillips's wedding were in for a treat when it came time for her father-daughter dance with dad Nathan Ellison.

The tradition is always a tender moment, but this father-daughter duo decided to forgo the beaten path route. Instead of slow dancing to a classy tune the entire time, the pair mashed up 10 different songs that were all meaningful to both of them in some way.

They started things off with a slow dance set to "Butterfly Kisses" which quickly turned into some fast-paced moves accompanied by songs like M.C. Hammer's "U Can't Touch This," LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," and NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye."

Not only were their hilarious and adorable dance moves on point, but it was clear the pair had so much fun performing them. Phillips can be seen smiling from ear-to-ear for the entire dance, and her dad gets so into the mashup he can't help but sing along.

The dance received a standing ovation from their guests filled with cheers, whistles, and screams. And when the video was posted to their wedding videographer's YouTube channel, it received nearly 9 million views.

Phillips is a trained dancer — and actually met her husband through dance, but this number was actually her dad's idea.

"I'm the oldest and the only girl so that was my dad's only chance to do something like this," Phillips told ABC News. "He, for years, has talked about doing that and he finally convinced me."

You wouldn't know it from watching, but the pair spent just one week prior to the wedding working out choreography and rehearsing.

"Every night [in the week] prior to the wedding we'd run through it a few times," Phillips said. "I think since we'd talked about it for years that it was pretty easy for it to come together."

We're glad it did.
