Heroic McDonald's Drive-Thru Attendant Jumps Through Window To Save Police Officer

Good job, Pedro Viloria.

A McDonald's worker in the Miami, Florida area is being hailed as a hero after boldly jumping out of a drive-thru window to help an off-duty police officer suffering from a medical emergency. The officer had her two children with her in the back seat.

Pedro Viloria had taken the woman's order without incident, but upon returning to the window with her food, noticed that she seemed to be having trouble breathing.

"I see she's, like, inflating her neck, like trying to breathe, like 'ahh,' and basically I thought something was going wrong," he told WPLG News, who reported that the woman's foot slipped off the brake as she passed out.

That's when Viloria jumped out the window to check on her. He found her unconscious and ran inside to get help.

Fortunately, for the unidentified woman, a paramedic happened to be in the restaurant at the time and was joined shortly after by an off-duty Miami-Dade Fire Rescue worker. The two performed CPR and used an AED to resuscitate the woman before she was transported to the hospital.
