After Experiencing Tragedy, A Man Bought Dinosaur Toys For Child As An Act Of Healing And Kindness

"'You take this money and buy this boy all three dinosaurs.'"

In a post shared by Colby and Alyssa Hacker on the Love What Matters' Facebook page, a mother tells what happened when she and her son, Owen, were picking out dinosaur toys at Target. Owen, who was told he could only have one of the three toys he was looking at, turned to an older man and said hello.

"He turned around and said, 'Hey sweet boy,'" the mother explained, and he started to play dinosaurs with Owen. "With this crazy world we live in, I was a little hesitant as to how close he was with Owen."

But then, the man took out his wallet and handed Owen $20.

"I just lost my 2-year-old grandson last week," the man told Owen's mother, wiping away tears. "You take this money and buy this boy all three dinosaurs."

"After Owen yelled 'thank you' the gentleman turned around and yelled' boomer sooner!' There is still some good in this world!"

Attached to the post is a photo of Owen with three dinosaur toys and the money — and it doesn't get much cuter than that.
