Watch Lorde Remix Her Latest Hit 'Green Light' As An Ode To Her Favorite Easter Candy

"I'm waiting for it, that Creme Egg, I want it."

Earlier this month, Lorde released "Green Light," the first single off her upcoming sophomore album, Melodrama. On Tuesday, the 20-year-old New Zealander visited Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1, where she gave us a new take on her latest hit perfectly timed for Easter.

Lorde shared her love of Cadbury Creme Eggs with the host, and the pair nibbled on a few during the interview. "Gets to Easter time, and I love to indulge in a Creme Egg," she explained, "and I've been in America, and the chocolate is not very good. I was excited to come to the U.K. and snack on a little Creme Egg."

We'll forgive her for dissing chocolate in the states, because what happened next is just too good.

Grimshaw asked the singer to join him in a duet all about their love for the chocolate candy, based on the lyrics to "Green Light." Lorde was up for it, and she sounded just as great on this silly remix as she always does. We'd be lying if we said we wouldn't listen to this version in concert.

"I said I'd have just one, I'm such a damn liar," she sings of her obsession, and we can relate. Then the chorus kicks in, and if you know the song, you know where this is going: "I'm waiting for it, that Creme Egg, I want it!"
