Jimmy Fallon Challenges Lin-Manuel Miranda To Freestyle About His Audience Member

Obviously he nails it.

It simply wouldn't be a Lin-Manuel Miranda appearance on The Tonight Show if the Hamilton creator didn't do a little freestyle rapping. Fortunately, host Jimmy Fallon happens to have a regular segment that was perfect for him to crash.

It's called "Freestylin' with The Roots," in which Fallon talks to various members of his audience and challenges his house band The Roots to perform an on-the-spot song about them. This time, they started with an autumn theme, as Black Thought freestyled about an audience member's love of velvet to the tune of "Monster Mash," and performed a Springsteen-style song about another fan's affinity for Kit Kats on Halloween.

Fallon saved Miranda's contribution for last after he found out a little more about audience member Olivia, who would love for Adele to play her in a musical called "The Sassy Life." That was all the star needed to hear to come up with a Hamilton-style rap about her. One YouTube commenter called it "Musical Mad-Libs." Whatever you want to call it, he nailed it.

"I've loved her ever since / She showed up like Adele wearing those floral prints," he rapped, before impressively managing to work "Rolling in the Deep" into the lyrics. Olivia was obviously thrilled.
