Stephen Colbert Asks Justin Timberlake The 'Big Questions,' Like Where Sexy Went

"Wow, no one has ever asked me that."

Sometimes, Stephen Colbert likes to get a little philosophical with his celebrity guests in a Late Show segment he calls "Big Questions With Even Bigger Stars." This week, he invited Justin Timberlake to join him on his picnic blanket, looking up at the stars. The two pondered some pretty profound ideas, which Timberlake said is one of his favorite things to do.

"If the universe is infinite, what's beyond?" Colbert asked his guest to start things off.

Timberlake had a pretty deep answer: "Everything other than Bed, Bath."

But Colbert had an even more "personal question" for the singer/dancer/actor/voice actor ("which is a totally different talent," he explained). Ever since Timberlake released his iconic song "SexyBack" in 2006, you may have been wondering exactly where "sexy" had even gone. Thankfully, Colbert wasn't afraid to ask.

"Wow, no one has ever asked me that," Timberlake admitted, before sharing the real meaning behind the song. As it turns out, "Sexy" was the name of the rabbit he was pet sitting for his neighbors. "They were worried I wouldn't return the rabbit," he recalled, and you can probably see where this is going.

Whether you want to believe it, on the other hand, is totally up to you.
