These 4-Year-Old BFFs Are Twins, And You Can’t Tell Them Otherwise

“We share the same soul!”

Jia Sarnicola and Zuri Copeland are the ultimate BFF goals. In fact, they may also be the ultimate sister goals, too. After sharing a birthday party earlier this year, the pair insist they are twins.

The Miami 4-year olds met when they were three, and have been inseparable ever since. On the surface, Jia and Zuri may appear to have a few differences — Jia has blonde hair and blue eyes and Zuri has curly brown hair and brown eyes, and they are of different races, but they couldn't be any more alike. According to the adorable duo, they are twins because they go to the same school, wear the same clothes, are the same age, and have the same birthday (well sort of — Jia's birthday is June 3 and Zuri's is June 5, but that's besides the point!).

"[They have] the same vibrant energy, intelligence, heart to take care of others, and both [are] extremely vocal about their needs," Ashley Sarnicola, told BuzzFeed News. "They love to dance and sing." Adding that she and Zuri's mom have become quite close as well, and have both taught their daughters that "being different is cool, and to make friends with new people every day."

Once when another child challenged the legitimacy of the BFFs sisterhood, Jia clapped back with "You don't know anything because we have the same birthday and the same soul."  We all agree, Jia and Zuri!

Their friendship has the internet buzzing, not just because of their cuteness, but also because they are a true testament of how powerful love is. Sarnicola says she is proud of raising her daughter is such a multicultural city. "They don't see color," she told ABC News. "We've never talked to them about it, period."
