Listen To The Original, Real Life Aladdin And Jasmine Perform One Of Our Favorite Songs From The Film

Lea Salonga and Brad Kane, whose singing voices you may (definitely) recognize as characters Jasmine and Aladdin from the 1992 Disney film, "Aladdin," reunited for a beautiful performance of "A Whole New World" on "Good Morning America."

And our hearts swelled all over again.

The performance celebrated "the Diamond Edition re-release of the beloved 1992 cartoon, which has been trapped in the Disney vault since 2008," Entertainment Weekly reports.

Accompanied by Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, the two cast members can still hit every note — just how we remember it.

In an interview with ABC Action News, published over the weekend, Kane reflected on his role as the singing voice for Aladdin.

"Kane says he part of a 'wonderful legacy,'" the news outlet reported. "That stays with me wherever I go. It takes me down memory lane and it's a great privilege to have been a part of it."

This latest reunion and performance is the perfect way to honor that legacy — and we couldn't be more excited.
