This Little Girl Wore The Perfect Outfit To Meet Hillary Clinton At A Book Signing

Twitter loved it.

Twitter is smiling over a heartwarming photo of a little girl wearing a white pantsuit to meet Hillary Clinton at a book signing in Brooklyn, N.Y. According to The Daily Beast, the girl's name is Grace, and she met the former presidential candidate at a signing for her picture book It Takes A Village.

Grace was also photographed outside the event holding a "Keep going" sign. Her outfit is reminiscent of similar white suits Clinton wore during and after the 2016 campaign, including when she accepted the Democratic nomination, at the third presidential debate, and at Donald Trump's January inauguration.

Many female Clinton supporters wore white pantsuits to vote in last year's election, as a symbol of the suffragettes, as well as the Pantsuit Nation movement, which began in a secret Facebook group last year. Many Democratic congresswomen also wore white to President Trump's first address to a joint session earlier this year.

Clinton retweeted the photo, taken by Greg Hale, and added how happy she was to be sharing her book "with readers of all ages." And she wasn't the only one who liked Grace's outfit — the original photo has received more than 25,000 likes as of this writing.

Grace has received many positive responses for her outfit, with one Twitter user calling her a "future leader." But one take on the image has been especially powerful.

Jesse Lehrich reposted the photo on Twitter and added that it's his "new forever answer" to the question, "Why won't Hillary just go away?" Much like this summer's viral video of a young Wonder Woman fan meeting Gal Gadot, this image shows the power of women's representation — in politics, in movies, and in all areas of life.

After all, Clinton herself sent a message to little girls in her concession speech last November, telling them to "never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams."

And it's not just little girls who are inspired to emulate Clinton through fashion. An 8-year-old boy went viral last Halloween for his spot-on Hillary Clinton costume, complete with the perfect hair.
