Looks Like This Year's Grammy Awards Won't Have A #GrammysSoMale Problem

Women will be in the spotlight in a variety of ways.

There was a bit of controversy last year, but the 2019 Grammy Awards are going to feature girl power in a major way. From the host and nominees to the performers and a legendary force, we're seeing unprecedented representation for women this year.

Leading the charge on music's biggest night is singer-songwriter Alicia Keys — who has a total of 15 Grammy wins — as the evening's hostess for the first time ever. In terms of this year's nominees, rapper Cardi B has everyone beat heading into the night with a total of five nominations this year alone. The "Bodak Yellow" singer will also be joined by performers like Miley Cyrus, Janelle Monaé, and Camila Cabello. And, to top it off, Diana Ross is getting a lifetime achievement award.

We can't wait to see what else our favorite ladies in the biz get up to on February 10.
