1. "The Bible"

This epic miniseries is available in full for your binging pleasure, and covers both the Old and New Testament. This beautifully done 10-episode series, available on Netflix, tells the story of God's creation of the Earth and the landmark events leading up to the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

2. "Madeinusa"

This Spanish-language film with English subtitles made its debut in 2006 at international film festivals such as Sundance and Tribeca. It tells the story of a 14-year-old girl living in a small Peruvian village where sin does not exist between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. But soon, the village erupts into chaos. 3. "Madeline and the Easter Bonnet"

An episode from the hit show. Madeline's gift to her milk horse, Bon Bon, ends up in the hands of a struggling designer, who tries to sell it for Easter. But Madeline is determined to get the new hat back so she can give it to her trusty friend. Available on Hulu.

4. "The Littlest Angel's Easter"

The Littlest Angel came to save the day when Ryan Newman was having a hard time adjusting to small town life after moving from the big city. He helps him to see the power of having faith, hope, and understanding in new beginnings, which is what Easter is all about. Available on Netflix. 

5. "Easter Revealed"

Through the investigations of archeologists, art historians, and journalists, the early events of Christianity are revealed. This anthology uncovers the stories and myths from the past that directly impact the state of the religion in today's world. Available on Hulu.

6. "The Passion of the Christ"

Send the kiddies to find the Easter bunny when you sit down to watch this Mel Gibson's three-time Oscar-nominated film, which was the highest-grossing R-rated in U.S. history until Deadpool. The film details the final hours and crucifixion of Jesus Christ in an intensely graphic way, which was intended to replicate how it really happened. Hey, hey, hey! Now here's an Easter movie for the whole family to enjoy. And if you're from the generation of Fat Albert, you'll get a kick out of the throwback holiday flick available on Amazon Prime.

8. "An Easter Story"

Imagine an Easter without eggs! When the Easter bunny is faced with this travesty on the day before the holiday, two young boys find the answer to save the day. Available on Amazon Prime.

9. "The Prince of Egypt"

This animated film is based on the events that happened in the book of Exodus. The story centers around Moses, who released the Jews from Egyptian slavery under the hand of the evil pharaoh Rameses, his brother. Available on Netflix.
