Canadian Air Traffic Controllers Sent Pizza To Their Counterparts In The U.S.

The gesture immediately went viral.

Canadian air traffic controllers shipped pizzas to their U.S. counterparts this week.

The nice gesture was a nod of support and boost of morale for U.S. air traffic controllers who are currently working without pay due to the federal government shutdown, which is now in its fourth week. More than 32 pizzas were sent to a single air traffic controller unit in Rhode Island, and CBC reported that more than 35 unites across the country received pizza. That includes Boston, Seattle, Minneapolis and Cleveland, among others.
