Brett Eldredge Sings To His Sleeping Dog In This Aww-Inspiring Instagram Video

"Drops of Jupiter in a sleeping puppy's ears."

Country star Brett Eldredge recently treated fans to a stripped-down acoustic performance on his Instagram account. The song? Train's 2001 hit "Drops of Jupiter." The audience? His sleeping dog Edgar. The results were both awe-inspiring and aww-inspiring.

Eldredge's soothing performance seemed to be the perfect lullaby for the lazy pooch, who kept his eyes closed from beginning to end. Either that, or he's just gotten used to the guy with the guitar who's always singing. We'll go ahead and assume he appreciates being serenaded.

"Drops of Jupiter in a sleeping puppy's ears," Eldredge captioned the adorable video.

Eldredge has had Edgar since he was just a puppy, and he frequently posts photos and videos with his furry friend, who even has his very own Instagram account

Over the holidays, the singer shared a video of himself singing "Blue Christmas" while cradling Edgar in front of the Christmas tree.

Edgar has probably heard quite a few carols from his best pal in recent months, since Eldredge released a Christmas album titled Glow last October.

Here's hoping we get to see even more puppy-approved performances from the star in the near future.
