Bill Nye Is Back And Making Science Fun Again With A New Netflix Series

He's here to save the world.

If you grew up in the '90s, there's a good chance you have fond memories of watching Bill Nye the Science Guy after school or with your science class. The show made everything from gravity to genetics more fun, and the theme song was one heck of an earworm.

You'll be happy to hear, then, that Bill Nye is back with a new show to tickle your nostalgia and maybe introduce a whole new generation to his entertaining brand of scientific education. It's called Bill Nye Saves the World, and it premieres April 21 (one day before Earth Day) on Netflix. The trailer was released on Wednesday.

Nye will be teaching viewers about everything from global warming to technology — and even sex, with what looks like a dance number to go along with it. And just as you remember, he'll be making everything fun. The show will feature correspondents including model Karlie Kloss, and special guests such as Donald Faison, Rachel Bloom, and Tim Gunn.

"Celebrities really want to get on the show," Nye said on Netflix's press day, according to Mashable. "People want to do something that they are making a statement, making a difference, are participating in science."

At times like these, that's more important than ever.
