Here Are 5 Books Bill Gates Says You Should Be Reading This Summer

"Reading is my favorite way to indulge my curiosity."

It's no secret that Bill Gates love to read. In fact, he has rules to his reading habit that enable him to consume about a book a week or approximately 50 books a year. From never starting books he can't finish to writing notes in the margins to blocking out one hour a day to dedicate to reading — in print, not electronically as he prefers — Bill Gates is a reader's reader and arguably one of the coolest bookworms in modern society (let's not forget about Oprah).

"Reading is my favorite way to indulge my curiosity," Gates once wrote in a blog post. "Although I'm lucky that I get to meet with a lot of interesting people and visit fascinating places through my work, I still think books are the best way to explore new topics that interest you."

To gear up for summer, Gates has released a list of the five books he recommends for reaching this summer. But you'll have to catch up to him since he's already read them all.

"Every book teaches me something new or helps me see things differently," Gates previously told Time. "Reading fuels a sense of curiosity about the world, which I think helped drive me forward in my career."

So if you're down to heed the advice of one of the world's most successful thinkers, get to your local bookstore, order the books online, or opt for the audiobook versions. Whichever you choose will surely provide an interesting summer.
