Last Of The U.K.'s Lion Tamers Is A Sight To Behold

What an amazing talent.

The U.K.'s last lion tamer looks more like a lion daredevil.

Thomas Chipperfield, who grew up in a circus family taming lions, is the center of photographer Matilda Temperley's series. But since "legislation banning wild animals in the circus" is coming around the corner, Chipperfield might be the last lion tamer in the UK. 

Chipperfield has two lions, Tsavo and Assegai, but Tsavo is the only one he kisses. Chipperfield's family has a history with wild animals and the circus that dates back eight generations to 1683.
