These Fans Talking About Their Love For The Spice Girls Had No Idea Baby Spice Was Listening

"The Spice Girls mean everything to me."

The Spice Girls made an impact on so many people during their reign in the late '90s. To prove it, some of the group's most die-hard fans recently got a chance to share just how much Scary, Sporty, Baby, Posh, and Ginger meant to them growing up in a video for BuzzFeed

"Thank you for making me a powerful, empowered woman," one fan said. Others shared just how many Spice Girls products they owned as kids, from dolls to posters.

Little did these devoted fans know that Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice herself, was listening to everything they had to say, and was just waiting to pop up and surprise them.

Bunton, who currently appears on the ABC reality competition series Boy Band, showed up to give hugs and sit down to chat with the shocked fans, who got to tell her in person just how important the Spice Girls were to their lives.

"The Spice Girls mean everything to me," one fan told her. "And I really think that you guys formed a whole entire generation of women who believed in themselves because you existed."

Another fan shared how the group helped him accept himself as a young gay kid.

The thank-yous went both ways, as Bunton shared how much fan support meant to the group. "We feel like we always want to thank our fans for being so supportive with us."
