Ellen's 'Average Andy' Might Need A Little More Time Practicing With Cirque Du Soleil

"I just want you to hold me."

When it comes to athletic performances, the cast of Cirque du Soleil's LUZIA's is on top of its game.

So when Ellen's Executive Producer Andy Lassner, aka "Average Andy," showed up to practice with the cast, it's safe to say that things didn't exactly go so well for him.

First up, Lassner teams up with Aleksei Goloborodko, an incredible contortionist for the show. Goloborodko can bend his body with ease and makes the splits look like the simplest thing. He also shows Lassner how to fold the body, laying with his stomach on the ground and bending his legs forward over his head.

Afterward, Lassner tries jumping through hoops, lifting his body weight on the ropes and jumping from pole to pole, just like the other performers do.

"I almost had it," he says as he hangs onto one pole, trying to leap and hold onto another. "I just want you to hold me," he adds, asking a performer for help.

Not only is this segment absolutely hilarious, but it reminds us just how much we should appreciate Cirque du Soleil's performers and their strength.
