Fan Gets Job Offer After Creating A Crossover Video Of 'Bob's Burgers' And 'Archer' For Fun

"Wow, I'm speechless. You want a job?"

Need some motivation to work on that creative project that's been mulling around in your brain? This guy's story will remind you why it pays off.

London-based art director Simon Chong is a fan of the animated shows Bob's Burgers and Archer. Just for fun, he decided to create a crossover between the shows in his spare time. He went through all seven seasons of Bob's Burgers and all eight of Archer to find the dialogue he wanted for his narrative. Then, he recreated the backgrounds of the segment, which primarily takes place inside of Bob's Burgers restaurant, and re-animated the characters himself. Finally, he uploaded the video to YouTube and titled it, "I Had Something For This Burger."

"Bob's Burgers has crossed over to Archer, but I wondered what'd happen if Archer were to take a trip to Bob's Burgers," Chong wrote in the video's description. "Seven months of animating, illustrating and plucking dialogue from both shows later, here's the result."

You can check it out in the video below.

Chong shared his video on his Twitter account, where it earned 240 likes and dozens of shares. That may not seem like a lot compared to hugely viral tweets, but it caught the attention of some very important people. Actress Amber Nash, who voices Pam on Archer, revealed on Twitter that the cast had been talking about Chong's video during San Diego's Comic-Con

Loren Bouchard, the creator of Bob's Burgers, complimented Chong on the video on Twitter and even offered him a job after seeing it.
