Every Week Two Anonymous Students Surprised Their Classmates With Incredible Chalkboard Art.

Random act of AWESOMENESS.

Sneaking into school after hours with a bucket of chalk. Sounds like something from police statement but is the very opposite. For 23 weeks straight, anonymous duo known as Dangerdust, has been slipping into the Columbus College of Art and Design to surprise their classmates with an elaborate chalkboard painting.

In their perfectly crafted chalk art, these anonymous students use inspiring quotes by famous people like Steve Jobs, Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and others. Combining skillful typography and beautiful black and white (sometimes colorful) drawings, Dangerdust became instant celebs in their campus and throughout the Internet.

Even though chalk art is very ephemeral, Dangerdust says it feels more liberating. Every Sunday or Monday night, they would erase the previous message and start from scratch. Some drawings would take up to 11 hours to complete. More about their works: Behance | Etsy | Instagram
