'100 Years Of Bridal Hair' Shows Us How Styles Have Changed Throughout The Century

Which one's your favorite?

Whether you're a bride-to-be or simply on the market for a new hairstyle, Allure magazine's recent video is filled with bridal hair inspiration

The video traces bridal hairstyles through the past 100 years, beginning in the 1920s, when brides "jazzed up bobs with delicate finger waves." From there, we get  to see a popular look from the '40s, featuring longer, rounder curls, as well as a '90s-do with shiny ringlets.

And finally, the video ends with today's trending bridal hairstyle: mermaid waves.

Of course, you don't have to stick to these styles exclusively on your wedding day. Try a relaxed mermaid wave for a daytime look, or a slightly messier version of the '50s up-do for a night out.
